The story is spot-on, the illustrations are top-notch. If you're looking for the best Jack and the Beanstalk book for children on iPad, THIS IS IT!
A few games appear along the way which are great for little children - for instance, there is a little golden 'chick' that hides on every page. The kids love touching around the page to find her.
Parents can turn the narrator off, hide the text (either or both), reduce the sound effects, music and auto play options.
We downloaded this App a few days after buying our iPad and it is one of the only Kids Book Apps which we STILL have on the iPad anywhere near as long.
This is one of the BEST iPad Children's books available. The children love to read it again and again.
The graphics are very well done and the sound and tilt-ability of the App make it well worth while!
A benchmark for other iPad children's book apps!
Little kids might get 'stuck' in a loop of going back and forth page by page, older kids can sit and read-interact with this App themselves. There are now many OTHER "Jack and the Beanstalk" Apps on the iTunes store, but this is the best one!! Read it to your kids, let them read it themselves, or let the narrator read it to them.
